Essie Topless & Barefoot

This is a swatch of Topless & Barefoot from Essie. This is my first time wearing it and so far I really like it. It is very close to my skintone and makes my nails look very clean and neat. Let me know what you think of this colour!

Greige Cherry Blossom Manicure

I created this look by starting off with a grey-beige (or greige) colour as a base. I then used a black nail art pen, a dotting tool, a light pink polish, a white polish, and a dark pink polish to create the cherry blossom design.

Check out my video to see how I created this look and the products that I used.

I Got A Manicure: Cotton Candy by Orly

As most of you know, I usually paint my own nails. In fact, I haven’t had a professional manicure in over a year…until today! I decided that it was time to get my nails in shape for summer.

A salon in my city was having a 2 for 1 deal for the month of April—purchase a pedicure and get a free manicure. I took advantage of the offer just in time for the month to end.

I am very happy with my nails. They now look neater and nicely shaped. I also love the colour! I chose Cotton Candy by Orly. In the past I have not been a big fan of Orly but I am so impressed with the colour of Cotton Candy that I think I may consider purchasing a bottle of it if I happen to see one at the beauty supply store.

Let me know what you think of my manicure, the polish colour, and the Orly brand in general. Have a great weekend!

Easter / Spring Inspired Nail Look

As you have probably already noticed, I like to celebrate holidays by creating nail looks inspired by the festivities. Today I have created a look inspired by Easter as well as spring. The nail design is easy to achieve and adds a pop of spring colours to your holiday look.

In addition to the photos below, I have created a tutorial video to demonstrate how I created this look as well as the products that I used.

Bridal Nail Tutorial Using Konad

With wedding season just around the corner I thought I would do a bridal-inspired nail tutorial. I created this look using my Konad stamping nail art kit and some light pink half pearls that I purchased from ebay.

In addition to the photos below, I also created a video that demonstrates how I did this look and which products I used to achieve it. Hope you enjoy!

Another Spring Nail Look

I created this look last spring. It involves making freehand flowers using a simple technique that makes your nails appear as though they were done at a salon.

I also have a video that shows you the tools and methods that I used to create the look. Hope you enjoy!
