Hello Kitty Nail Look

For this tutorial, I decided to stray from the flower designs that usually appear in my nail videos and do something youthful and fun!

Check out my video to see how I created this look and the products that I used.

Essie Topless & Barefoot

This is a swatch of Topless & Barefoot from Essie. This is my first time wearing it and so far I really like it. It is very close to my skintone and makes my nails look very clean and neat. Let me know what you think of this colour!

Greige Cherry Blossom Manicure

I created this look by starting off with a grey-beige (or greige) colour as a base. I then used a black nail art pen, a dotting tool, a light pink polish, a white polish, and a dark pink polish to create the cherry blossom design.

Check out my video to see how I created this look and the products that I used.

How I do SUPER Girly :P

Since it's Pink Wednesday, I thought it was the perfect time to share the cutest and super girly polish set I was sent. Erika from Beauty Express Mall, sent me some fun nail products to review, and this was one of them. It's the Sassy Nails Crystal Set. It has pink glitter polish/nail art pen on one side, and a tube of pink rhinestones on the other end. Now the pink glitter polish can be used as either polish, by unscrewing the lid, or a nail art pen, by pulling the lid off. You can see that in pictures below. I loved the pink so much, that I chose to use it as a polish, and use some of the rhinestones on the tip of my accent nail.

Here are bottle pics.
This is the complete set, screwed together

If you unscew the black top, you can use the pink glitter as regular polish

Then if you just pull off the top of the black lid, it is a nail art pen. Talk about a full mani in one set. Polish, nail art pen & rhinestones!

Now for the mani :)
I used 2 coats to start, and the formula was great.

I then added some of the pink rhinestones on the tips of my ring fingers.

I can't wait to show you guys the other stuff I got, including a bright blue crackle!!

I Got A Manicure: Cotton Candy by Orly

As most of you know, I usually paint my own nails. In fact, I haven’t had a professional manicure in over a year…until today! I decided that it was time to get my nails in shape for summer.

A salon in my city was having a 2 for 1 deal for the month of April—purchase a pedicure and get a free manicure. I took advantage of the offer just in time for the month to end.

I am very happy with my nails. They now look neater and nicely shaped. I also love the colour! I chose Cotton Candy by Orly. In the past I have not been a big fan of Orly but I am so impressed with the colour of Cotton Candy that I think I may consider purchasing a bottle of it if I happen to see one at the beauty supply store.

Let me know what you think of my manicure, the polish colour, and the Orly brand in general. Have a great weekend!

Easter / Spring Inspired Nail Look

As you have probably already noticed, I like to celebrate holidays by creating nail looks inspired by the festivities. Today I have created a look inspired by Easter as well as spring. The nail design is easy to achieve and adds a pop of spring colours to your holiday look.

In addition to the photos below, I have created a tutorial video to demonstrate how I created this look as well as the products that I used.
