OPI Nail Polish Swatches

Two weeks ago I began swatching my Essie polishes and recently I have completed my collection of OPIs.

I purchased the clear nail wheels from BF-Beauty:

http://www.bf-beauty.com/en/product/item/347/product_detail.html

A package of 10 wheels was only $4.99. I bought the clear wheels so that I could see the true opacity of each polish.

On the wheels below, I applied 3 coats of each polish. I did not apply a base coat or top coat to any of the nails.

Easter / Spring Inspired Nail Look

As you have probably already noticed, I like to celebrate holidays by creating nail looks inspired by the festivities. Today I have created a look inspired by Easter as well as spring. The nail design is easy to achieve and adds a pop of spring colours to your holiday look.

In addition to the photos below, I have created a tutorial video to demonstrate how I created this look as well as the products that I used.

Bridal Nail Tutorial Using Konad

With wedding season just around the corner I thought I would do a bridal-inspired nail tutorial. I created this look using my Konad stamping nail art kit and some light pink half pearls that I purchased from ebay.

In addition to the photos below, I also created a video that demonstrates how I did this look and which products I used to achieve it. Hope you enjoy!

Two Toned Flower Nail Look

Currently I’m in the process of creating new nail looks for spring. For inspiration I decided to look to my past spring nail looks.

I created this one using Konad and two different colours of holographic nail polish. I like this look because it is very light and subtle but has an unexpected pop of colour.

I also have a video that shows the products and techniques that I used to create this look. Hope you enjoy!

St. Patrick’s Day Nail Look

Although I have been doing nail art for longer than I can remember, this is the first year that I have created a nail look for St. Patrick’s Day. I wanted to make this look festive yet subtle so that it can be worn long after the celebrations have ended.

Spring Nail Look

While it’s technically still winter, this nail look is the perfect way to get ready for spring.

I used OPI’s Venus di Violet as the base colour. It is fairly sheer and takes about 3-4 coats to reach this opacity.

The design was created using my Konad stamping nail art kit. I stamped an image from plate m36 onto the tips of each nail with a white cream polish.

The look is perfect for this time of year because it uses a spring colour palette but the shades are not so bright that they look out of place during the winter.

Let me know what you think.
